Amanda was an amazing night doula for us when our third baby came along. She is a great communicator, trustworthy, flexible, and clearly very good at what she does! She listened to what I wanted and also made recommendations. She had our baby girl giving us 6-8 hour stretches of sleep by 5 weeks, something we never had with our first two! It was invaluable to have Amanda especially in the early weeks while I was recovering from childbirth, so I could nurse in bed and not have to diaper, swaddle, rock, etc. It was very comfortable to have Amanda in our home and I would highly recommend her!

Amanda is an exceptional night doula! She supported us with our second baby and from our first night back from the hospital we felt comfortable and at ease with her. She helped with sleep training as well as our baby’s tongue tie procedure and she was even terrific with our 3 year old son who she would see in the mornings. She has extensive knowledge of how to care for babies, but more importantly she truly loves the babies she works with giving parents the confidence that their little ones are well cared for. We love Amanda and cannot recommend her enough!

Having the postpartum support from Half Moon Doulas was truly a lifesaver. Amanda is amazing! We worked with her after my son was born and then again after my twin girls were born. She was there for us from the moment we got home from the hospital at our most vulnerable moments and eased our stress and gave us confidence that our babies were well taken care of. She is a true expert in newborn care, post partum care for the mother (breast feeding, pumping, labor recovery, etc) and most of all has the biggest heart in taking care of your baby, we trusted her completely! We couldn’t have gotten thru all we did with out her!

When I had to switch to exclusive pumping, Amanda provided both practical guidance and emotional encouragement, consistently reassuring me that I was doing a great job. She was also instrumental in helping us through our baby’s tongue tie procedure, diligently performing the required massage multiple times daily.
Amanda’s patient, caring demeanor and wealth of knowledge made a tremendous difference in our early parenting experience. She was more than just a doula – she was a mentor and support system when we needed it most. Without hesitation, I would choose Amanda again for my future baby.
